Our history
From flyball to dog cage builds, what inspired the creation of Canine Cage Craft Ltd.
Canine Cage Craft Ltd started after Mike, the owner of this family run business, was asked if he could make a dog cage to fit his wife’s van. Barbara and daughter Katie have been doing flyball for over 14 years. Mike was a big part of this, and seeing that the dogs weren’t safe enough, and also weren’t too happy in long journey’s, decided to make his own dog cages, fitted into the family van that was used for transport.
With a fantastic build, Barbara took the family dogs to the next show and was asked if Mike could help a few other dog owners with their dog cage builds. So it began, Canine Cage Craft started the next day and has grown over the years with huge success.

We collected our transit custom at the weekend with the cages all fitted, and we are absolutely thrilled. The workmanship is second to none and your advise was ” spot on” with everything. Delayed review because wanted to properly use the cages and give a genuine review! What can I say, they are perfect! Just what I wanted, no rattling, dogs love having more space than before and using the jump board! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, in fact I already have!! Thank you!!
